Central
Indiana Search Dogs, Inc.
Central Indiana Search Dogs,
Inc. (CISD) is a nonprofit organization that provides canine Search and Rescue
services to local law enforcement agencies throughout We are capable of live victim, cadaver, and water rescue searches through air-scenting as well as tracking methods. We have several certified search dogs already involved in the group, and we currently have over half a dozen puppies in training working towards certification. CISD welcomes people who are interested in getting involved in Search and Rescue (SAR). It not only offers a valuable service to our community, but it provides our K-9 partners a way to inherently use their senses to do the work of several humans. New potential members are coming out weekly to meet the group and learn more about SAR. Please contact Suzie Crouch if you are interested. Because the group is a nonprofit organization, members invest more than just their time. Each member of the group is responsible for his own equipment and travel expenses. CISD welcomes donations from the community. As with any nonprofit organization, donations are tax-deductible. We are always looking for assistance from people or businesses that can help us keep costs down through donations of goods or services. We also wish to have corporate and individual sponsors who help us get involved in community events, contribute to making the community aware of our service, and also help us cover expenses for training exercises or search missions. Please contact Bob Van for more information on how to make a contribution to CISD. Ways you can help: Needed Items:
Other ways you can contribute: 1. Invite us out to a local event (such as a fair, animal expo, or fundraising event) 2. Donate your services (such as legal fees, office supplies, or offer the group company discounts)
3. Start a Donation Jar to help us pay for expenses (such as training, equipment costs, and Search Missions)
